01 / Statuses
What the statuses mean
| Status | What is happening |
|---|---|

| Approved | The money is released; the stated withdrawal time usually starts here |
| Sent / processed | The payment provider has sent it; your bank or wallet takes over |
| Declined / returned | Details do not match, or the method cannot receive payouts |

03 / Faster payouts
Five habits that shorten the wait
- Complete the identity check right after you register: government ID, a recent proof of address, sometimes a selfie.
- Deposit with a method that can also receive withdrawals, such as Interac e-Transfer.
- Use payment accounts in your own name only.
- Keep your email address and phone number current; e-Transfers go there.
- Request withdrawals on weekdays; some operators review fewer requests at weekends.

04 / Methods
How long each payout method takes
| Method | Typical arrival | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Interac e-Transfer | Minutes | Arrives by email or phone; Autodeposit saves a step |
| E-wallet (MuchBetter, PayPal) | Minutes to hours | Then move it to your bank from the wallet |
| Bank transfer | One to three business days | Weekends and holidays add time |
| Bank card | Several business days | Not every card accepts payouts |
Arrival times are general guides for each method, not promises by any operator. The operator’s own stated time covers its review and processing; the method decides what happens after that.
05 / The first payout
Why the first withdrawal is the slowest
The first time you cash out, the operator does three things it will not repeat later: it completes the identity check, it confirms that the payment method is in your name, and it checks that your deposits were actually played rather than passed straight through the account. Anti-money-laundering rules require all three. Once they are on file, later withdrawals usually move at the operator’s normal speed.
Some operators also set a maximum per withdrawal, per day or per week. A large balance may therefore arrive in several payments. The cashier or the terms show those limits; read them before you request a large amount so you know what to expect.
06 / Records
Keep a record of every cash-out
Each withdrawal has a reference number in the app’s transaction history. Keep it until the money is in your bank. If a payment is delayed, that reference is the first thing the operator and your bank will ask for, and it turns a vague complaint into one they can trace.
A simple note of deposits and withdrawals also shows you, over a month, how much the app has really cost or returned. Most apps offer a statement in the account section; download it from time to time rather than relying on memory.
If an operator registered in Ontario or Alberta does not resolve a payout problem, the provincial regulator handles complaints about it. Write to the operator first and keep its reply; regulators expect you to have tried that route.
Outside those two provinces, complaints go first to the operator and then to the authority that licensed it, which is named in the operator’s terms and at the bottom of its website. Before you deposit with an operator, it is worth knowing which authority that is.
Most delays, though, never get that far. A polite message to support with the reference number, the date of the request and the method you chose resolves the large majority within a day, especially when the identity check was the cause and you can attach the missing document at the same time. Keep the tone factual and the message short; support teams work through queues, and a clear request is handled faster than a long one.
07 / FAQ
Withdrawals: questions
Why is my casino withdrawal pending?
Pending means the operator has not approved it yet. For a first withdrawal the usual reason is the identity check; later, the operator may check that deposits were played through or that the payment method is yours.
Can I cancel a pending withdrawal?
Many apps let you reverse a withdrawal while it is pending. If you are trying to keep money away from yourself, look for the setting that disables reversals or ask support to switch it off.
How long should a withdrawal take?
Most operators in our index state 24 to 48 hours after approval, a few up to three days. Bank processing comes on top for bank transfers and cards; Interac e-Transfers arrive within minutes of being sent.
Why was my withdrawal sent to a different method?
Operators often pay back to the method you deposited with, to prevent money laundering. The cashier explains the rule before you confirm.
What if a withdrawal never arrives?
Collect the transaction reference, confirm the payment details on your account, and contact the operator in writing. If you are in Ontario or Alberta and the operator does not resolve it, the provincial regulator handles complaints about registered operators.
