Installing the LeoVegas app
Gears of Leo AB publishes the only LeoVegas app in the Canadian stores, and its description limits it to Ontario. At more than 200 MB it is the largest download in our index, and the iPhone version needs iOS 16. On Android it is listed on Google Play with more than 5,000 downloads.
In the stores
Both stores call it “LeoVegas Real Money Casino”. The iPhone app had reached version 16.13.0 by 14 September 2026 but had only 63 ratings in Canada, averaging 2.8. Google Play shows 3.8 from just 20 ratings, a full star apart, the widest gap in our index. With so few Canadian reviews on either store, each new rating moves the average noticeably, so the numbers say little about the app itself.

This app has one of the lowest App Store ratings in our index, from a small number of ratings, so the figure says little either way. Its labels deserve a closer look than the rating. On iPhone it declares search history, identifiers and usage data as used to track you. On Google Play it declares sharing contacts, installed apps and web browsing history with other companies. LeoVegas does not list Interac among its Canadian payment methods; withdrawals go to bank transfer or MuchBetter.
Who it suits
It suits players who already use MuchBetter or bank transfer, since Interac is not on the operator’s Canadian list. It is also one of the largest downloads in the index at over 200 MB. Players who keep a close eye on privacy have the most to read here: both store declarations go further than most, and the Google Play one names contacts and installed apps.
Who should look elsewhere
Interac users should look elsewhere, as should anyone who wants to withdraw to a card: payouts go only to a bank account or MuchBetter. Players who prefer an app with a long Canadian review history will also find very little here, with fewer than a hundred ratings across both stores.
